Well, the Amazon, I bought from a guy in Topeka who didn't have time or interest to finish the project, so I got her for $100... Had to put the drivetrain back in, which is still in-progress, because I'm having trouble getting it to line up on the engine mounts, by myself... She's a '66, originally in Horizon Blue (paintcode 89) that originally had the M40 and a 4.10 rear end, but it was swapped to an M41 with overdrive.

For fueling, I have a single Weber DGEV paired with an electronic ignition.

The 740, I got from a friend of mine in Alabama, and drove her home to Kansas. $300, a set of tires, and a clutch cable, and it, along with its M46 made it home without drama. I've put a new set of injectors in, I'm about to do the blower motor and the snow tires are on her now, because winter. 286,000 miles, so far, and she's still running strong. She's a N/A, GLE with the black leather interior. (Very nice, IMHO) and the manual.

Saweeet goodluck on the progress, yeap that'l be a sweet cruiser hope ti stays blue. I came across a gentleman at the Glen running a similar fueling setup in his 18oo, which I guess also had the M41? Unfortunately it got kinda borked on a wet exit to turn 1...how do you even fix that?? It looks like all one body panel

Shame you're not closer to the fingerlakes he owns a massive Volvo/ Euro yard 15 minutes from the track. If you needed something for either machine he'd likely have it... should know I got stung by some carpenter bees this summer amongst his row of 740's ha. Unfortunatly it sits right amongst all the pretty vineyards so the town boards of Locke/Burdett(?) are trying to remove the whole yard so act now while supplies last.
